then we took a two-hour’s drive to Split followed by another two hours on board of a yacht, which took us to Hvar, the island that claims the greatest number of sunny days in a year. Before leaving Šibenik, we spent the morning in Krka Lakes National Park. we left our cars there and went to the Marina attached to the Lav Hotel. the Ferrari yacht took us towards Hvar and we re- ally looked forward to spending some time on this beautiful island, where we would stay for two days.
we disembarked in the town port and checked-in at Palace elisabeth Hotel, which had been officially opened just a couple of days be- fore our arrival. the stay in one of the best hotels in Adria region, situated at an exquisite location in the very centre of the old town overlooking the Pakleni islands (Hell islands) could not leave any- body indifferent. We had dinner at Passarola restaurant followed by an evening socializing in a Ka’ Lavanda club overlooking the St. Stephen bell-tower.
